My daughter’s first full day out of the hospital & she wanted to stick her toes in the sand so we took her to the beach for about 20 min. Her incision pain is much more under control, she is continuing to eat w/o pain, and her POTS might have even gone away. If MALS caused the POTS then it should go away. We just never knew for sure what caused her POTS. For various reasons, we believe Covid caused all this & the dr thinks it’s a good possibility. But Life 2.0 begins. Praise God! Thx, Everyone!

1 year agoAlso, this is Santa Monica, California. I love how you can see the mountains at the beach. It’s so beautiful. Since we had to travel to get Kathryn’s surgery, it’s a pretty good place to go.

1 year agoA happy family. So glad to hear your daughter’s surgery was successful and hopefully now she can get on with her life pain free. And that must be such a relief for you and your husband as well. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👍 Can I ask, did she have her surgery at the UCLA Medical Center? I went to UCLA and used to go to Santa Monica beach between classes to soak up the sun, so know it’s in close proximity.
