"See HER"
Black History Month ...
I watched the Service today ... the Rev. Sharpton nailed it! I cried.
Having a hard time ... and now, book banning ... I don't get it.
Regardless, I felt this all as I colored her ... I think I conveyed my feelings.
I thank you all for your support and kindness. Kindness is invaluable.

Itβs funny how society repeats itself all the time. As a kid I was told we learn history so we donβt repeat itself, yet it always happens.
Book banning was not uncommon in the past. They used to straight up burn books. The form has changed but the principal is the same.
Speaking of books being burned in the past, it reminds me of a book called βFahrenheit 451β.
Itβs about a society that burns books.
For those that havenβt, I recommend reading the book or a summary if interested.

Your coloring not only captures her sorrow but the isolation she feels. For having warm colors, itβs chilling.
Incredible job coloring Tracy!!
We need to look at the positives in life to help us not sink into that pit!!
