This picture showcases her with nothing distracting in the background.
Backgrounds make a big difference in the feel of a picture.
A simple picture (solid or gradient) and a drawn in background both work fine!
It all depends on the style you are going for, techniques you like/want to try and the goals you have.

1 year agoEffects also make a big difference on colors too.
This picture doesnβt have an effect on it but the finals ones will.
I wanted this blank background as a clean slate for when I upload the two different styles of backgrounds.

The next time I participate in this challenge, I will only be uploading 4 pictures.
The Base Color, Details, Blending and Final.
For this second challenge, I wanted to focus on showing all the steps and the importance of background. That is why I am uploading so many for this challenge.
