Thank you for visiting my gallery! I am still struggling with the crayons! I would like to make my own! Some people here told me they find their own crayons better! I would not know where to start though!

@ Everyone
Thank you!!
I haven’t had the urge to color as of late. When I see a picture that looks interesting, it makes me want to color it.

Your more than welcome for the comments!
I don’t have any tutorials planned, but I’m willing to take recommendations. You can also feel free to ask any questions if you are interested in knowing anything in particular.
I’m not an expert at coloring but I will let you know what I know.

Is the crayons that you make yourself easier to use or are they about the same?

The crayon tool takes a while to get used to.
I have created my own color palettes, because not every color I would like is in the basic sets (non-member colors).
The main thing to remember is that if the color is on the page, you can use it as a crayon color.
I like to put colors I want to use for the brush on an area of the picture I don’t need a lot of edits for. Such as any part of the eye, small jewelry, tiny sections on clothing, etc.
You put the color you want in a spot…

and then you go to the crayon section. Press and gold over the color you want and now you can use it anywhere in the picture.
If your a member you can create a pallet for a basic color (also free), a gradient, and a crayon tool.
I like to use crayons as extra detail to add depth to the picture.
For instance, the hair in this picture has brown, yellow, and pink. The jacket in this picture has multiple shades of green.
What color you want where depends on what your looking for.

The tutorials on utube are really old! I have been trying to watch them! I find them difficult! I have to stop them and watch a little bit at a time!

A lot of the pictures I see have a beautiful peachy color! This is really beautiful! I would love to know how to get that! The colors that you use for the face etc. are beautiful! I just love your artwork! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you! I prefer a simplistic and more natural style when I color.
You should make a color pallet section for just skin tones. I did this for mine.
Brown, red, orange and yellow are going to be the main groups.
Make multiple colors that are close in color. Start off light and slowly go darker. If you make at least 5 doing this it will help a lot.
Slightly darker areas on cheeks, near hair, under lips.
Sightly lighter areas under eyes, on shin and on nose.

I found a decent template, so I’ll create a baby placement tutorial on details.
I’ll upload it in a few days. If I finish it early, I’ll post it sooner.
I haven’t decided on how many posts exactly it will be, but it will be 5 maximum.
There will be notes below each post.
