"Mother and Daughter"
This lovely pair shine with happiness. Mom is adorned with a bindi. It is the red powder dot that is worn by Hindu women to show they are married. However, it is often worn for the sake of fashion now, by ladies who simply like the look.
Did you know, the only reason Native Americans are called Indians, is because that slave trader Columbus was lost and thought he had arrived in India/Eastern Asia.

11 months agoBeautifully done Tracy! Perfectly highlighted, as is always the case with your work! Believe it or not, I never knew what the Red dot represented. I always assumed it was for a religious reason! As for Columbus, Iโm sure glad he didnโt think he landed in Turkeyโฆit would have made the story of the first Thanksgiving a lot more interesting!
