1 month agoAbsolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing your story about your mom,hubby and son!! Yes,cancer is a killer I’ve lost Aunts,grandma,my mom and my oldest son in 95 he was only just shy of his 17th bday! He had CML a form of leukemia it hit the healthiest kid so hard and Nov the day after thanksgiving took him to Dr for a swollen cheek and they said keep an eye on it bring him back in a month if it’s not gone they will try and drain the blood clot he said it was and only ever has seen 1 other cas

1 month agoCase of a blood clot on the cheek we are unsure even how he got it! He said he was wrestling with his lil brother a day before we noticed the bump on thanksgiving morning! They gave him pain meds and those were making him so sick so I talked to 3 different Drs from Friday-Sunday when he looked like he lost 10 lbs in 2 days he was thin to begin with so I was very concerned it was just not right. Took him to ER where they asked what blood test and X-rays showed? I told them what the Dr did neithe

1 month agoOf those things so they took blood and did X-rays well his blood work showed a very concerning count in his white blood cells 5 hundred thousand and ten when 5-10.000 means a infection is probably going on they thought it was a lab mistake and said they would redo the next day I said NO….WERE GONNA DOIT AGAIN RIGHT NOW!! It came back even higher by 1 point! They took me aside and said it looks like we were dealing with some sort of a blood disorder and I was devastated and said ok give him meds

1 month agoMake him better please! I did know what blood disorder even was! We lost our baby who lived 1 month 1 day he was born a preemie at 1 lb 10&1/2 ox at 26-28 weeks so having another child It was heartbreaking to say the least to us!! So we found out it was CML in Nov 94 he recieved a bone marrow transplant July 95 and got graft vs host disease from rejection and we lost him Oct 95 not even a year those were my 2 oldest sons I have my youngest 36 now and a blessing! I have a 2&1/2 yr old grandson I

1 month agoWatch each day and he has put the magic back into life! So you see I understand life goes on but never the same way as before a loss!! My mom was only 71 when she died and was a ball of energy! She took herself to curves a ladies gym after her chemo but the lung cancer got the best of her I am 65 now not much younger then she was she’s missed so much! I appreciate you taking the time to share!!🙏🏼🌹❤️🤗
